A fox appears against a rich pattern of flowers, based on the mille-fleurs tapestries. The fox is an adaptable and social creature living in loose family groups. These animals are perfectly at home in the countryside or our city streets. They are opportunistic omnivores with a diet ranging from birds, beetles, rabbits and fruit but they are equally happy to take advantage of our food waste. Their ability to adapt means that the UK population is healthy and stable.
