The transference of light through the jewel-like colours of these panels brings to life the grace of these Art Nouveau designs. They are framed with lead and hung with trace chain. The gift box includes a window suction hanger. 6 1/4" square panel.
Charles Rennie Mackintosh, whose designs date from the 1890s and early 1900s, was the main exponent of Art Nouveau in Scotland. His work is characterized by strong geometric shapes contrasted with subtly curved floral motifs. His iconic "Mackintosh Rose" epitomizes the Glasgow Style.
