In 1215 King John was forced to accept the Magna Carta in the meadows of Runnymede in Surrey. The document established that the king’s will was not arbitrary, and guaranteed basic rights to due process from which constitutional law later evolved.
Cast in resin from a wax original of King John’s Great Seal, with which he sealed the Magna Carta.
The seal is weatherproof, and can be displayed indoors
or outside.
