We've been direct importers of British goods since 1982, and we've had shops in Charlottesville, Virginia, in DC's Georgetown Park, and on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.
We originally operated from the Scottish Borders as Alberene (U. K.)LTD in Hawick, where we made Scottish Cashmere sweaters and accessories for our shops.
Now, we're solely a catalogue and internet company, shipping our British Isles imports from the historic Harris Sorting & Picker House, part of the Nineteenth Century woolen mill complex in Harrisville, New Hampshire. |
